Sun Oct 13 10:15:23 UTC 2024: ## India Clinches T20I Series Against Bangladesh with Dominant Win in Hyderabad
**Hyderabad, India:** India secured a resounding 3-0 series victory against Bangladesh in the T20I series, defeating the Tigers by 133 runs in Hyderabad on Saturday. The win was fueled by a spectacular batting performance from India, led by Sanju Samson’s maiden T20I century and Suryakumar Yadav’s half-century, and a crucial bowling spell by Ravi Bishnoi.
Bishnoi, who finished with figures of 3/30, became the youngest player (24 years, 37 days) to achieve 50 T20I wickets for India. He shared the honor of reaching this milestone in the fewest matches with Arshdeep Singh.
“I’m feeling great with this small milestone,” said Bishnoi in a post-match interview. “It’s good pressure when you have healthy competition in the team. I wanted to make the most of this opportunity.”
India’s batting display was a masterclass in aggressive strokeplay. Samson’s 111 off 47 balls, with 11 fours and 8 sixes, was the highlight of the innings. He and Suryakumar Yadav (75 off 35 balls) formed a record-breaking partnership of 173 runs in just 69 balls.
“I had a break for a few days, so I tried to make the most of it,” Bishnoi reflected on his recent time away from the game. He also emphasized the importance of continuous improvement in the ever-evolving world of cricket. “It feels good to see the game from the outside as well. You need to work on yourself and work on things accordingly,” he said.
Bangladesh’s chase was hampered by a steady fall of wickets, failing to keep up with the required run rate. Towhid Hridoy (63 not out) was the only Bangladesh batsman to offer any resistance.
The series victory marks a positive step for India as they continue their preparations for the upcoming ICC World T20 Championship.
