**CHENNAI:** A private video purportedly featuring popular Malayalee and South Indian actress Oviya has sparked controversy on social media. The footage, circulating across platforms including X, allegedly shows the actress in a compromising situation.
While neither Oviya nor her team have commented on the authenticity of the video, social media users have pointed out similarities between the woman in the video and Oviya’s tattoos. Others, however, claim the video could be a deep fake, raising doubts about its veracity.
