Mumbai, India – The Bollywood community is in mourning following the tragic death of NCP leader and former MLA, Baba Siddique, who was shot and killed on Saturday. Shocked and devastated, many from the film industry flocked to Lilavati Hospital to pay their respects.
Among them was actress Shilpa Shetty, who was visibly heartbroken, breaking down in tears as she left the hospital.
Salman Khan, a close friend of Siddique, was filming the weekend episode of “Bigg Boss” when he received news of the incident. He immediately canceled the shoot and rushed to the hospital.
The assailants, believed to be part of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, fired three rounds at Siddique while he was at his son’s office in Bandra. Two suspects have been apprehended and are being questioned.
The NCP has announced that all party activities have been cancelled in solidarity with the grieving family.
Siddique’s untimely death has sent shockwaves through the city, and the investigation into his murder is ongoing.
