**Sharjah, UAE:** Australia’s captain Alyssa Healy will miss tonight’s crucial T20 World Cup clash against India after suffering an acute right foot injury during Friday’s match against Pakistan. Healy hobbled off the field during the match and arrived at the stadium on crutches ahead of the India game.

Cricket Australia confirmed that Healy sustained the injury while running between the wickets and will be assessed over the coming days. Her availability for the semi-finals, should Australia qualify, will be determined later.

In Healy’s absence, vice-captain Ellyse Perry will step up, with Tahlia McGrath taking the captaincy reins.

Meanwhile, Australia’s other injury concern, Tayla Vlaeminck, has been ruled out of the tournament after dislocating her shoulder. Heather Graham has been named as her replacement.
