Sun Oct 13 10:40:00 UTC 2024: ## Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility for Baba Siddiqui Murder, Citing Connection to Dawood Ibrahim

**Mumbai:** A new twist has emerged in the Baba Siddiqui murder case, with the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang claiming responsibility for the crime. The gang, in a viral Facebook post, stated that they had no intention of “war” with Salman Khan but killed Siddiqui due to his alleged association with Dawood Ibrahim. However, Mumbai Police has not yet confirmed the authenticity of the post and is investigating the matter.

The Facebook post, allegedly from a user named “Shubu Lonkar Maharashtra”, declares that Baba Siddiqui was involved in the Mcoca Act case with Dawood Ibrahim and his death was meant to sever ties between Dawood, Bollywood, politics, and property dealings. The post also references Anuj Thapan, who had fired outside Salman Khan’s residence and died in police custody, claiming his death as retribution.

The post goes on to warn those assisting Salman Khan and Dawood that they will “face the consequences,” and threaten further action if any harm befalls members of the Bishnoi gang.

The Mumbai Police, who are currently investigating the case, have identified three shooters and are on the lookout for the mastermind behind the murder. While the Bishnoi gang asserts that Siddiqui’s supposed “good deeds” were a facade, the police are facing new challenges in light of the gang’s threats and assertions.

The case has now taken on political and Bollywood dimensions, with Siddiqui’s alleged connections to Dawood Ibrahim and Anuj Thapan further complicating the investigation. It remains to be seen how the police will untangle this web of connections, particularly in the face of the gang’s social media activity and its ties to Salman Khan.
