**HUNTSVILLE, Ala.** – Country Music Hall of Fame songwriter Dean Dillon is bringing a star-studded lineup to Huntsville, including legendary singer George Strait, for a concert benefiting local children and veterans. The event, titled “Concerts for a Cause,” will be held at the Von Braun Center and promises to be a night of unforgettable music and giving back to the community.
Dillon partnered with Concerts for a Cause to bring the concert to Huntsville. “I’m thrilled that we are investing in the children and veterans here in Huntsville,” Dillon said.
As part of the event, over 300 guitars have been donated to schools in Madison County. Patriot Mobile, a telecommunications company, has also provided 100 tickets to local veterans.
“Music is an integral part of education,” stated Dr. Ed Nichols, Superintendent of Madison County Schools. “I am grateful for these donations, as music has always held a special place in my heart.”
The festivities kicked off Tuesday night with a VIP dinner at the VBC, featuring music, stories, and catered meals by Omaha Steaks. Omaha Steaks will be donating 10% of their online purchases to Concerts for a Cause for the next year.
The concert promises to be a night filled with iconic country music hits, as well as a chance to celebrate Dean Dillon’s legacy while giving back to the Huntsville community.
