**Chandigarh, October 9, 2024:** The Punjab government has announced a holiday for all Sewa Kendras in the state on October 12th, 2024, the occasion of Dussehra.
Confirming the announcement, Punjab Governance Reforms and Public Grievances Minister Aman Arora stated that all Sewa Kendras will remain closed on Saturday. However, the government has made provisions for citizens to access 43 services under the ‘Bhagwant Mann Sarkar, Tuhade Dwaar’ scheme by calling the helpline number 1076.
This initiative ensures that citizens can continue to avail essential services from the comfort of their homes during the holiday.
