The Carolina Hurricanes are gearing up for their season opener against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday, with a roster set to feature the same 18 skaters that have been seen in practice this week.
The opening night lineup includes a new-look top line, with Jack Roslovic joining Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis. Meanwhile, Jesperi Kotkaniemi centers the second line, alongside Martin Necas and Andrei Svechnikov.

Andersen, entering his fourth season with the Canes, has a solid record with the team. Kochetkov, on the other hand, made a splash in his rookie season, earning a spot on the NHL’s All-Rookie team. He also had success against the Lightning during the preseason.
