**New Delhi:** The central government has announced a non-productivity linked bonus for Group C and Group B non-gazetted employees. The bonus, which will be paid out this month, is meant to celebrate Diwali and will be calculated based on the number of days worked. An average of Rs. 6908 will be received by eligible employees, which includes those from the central paramilitary and army. To be eligible, employees must have joined before March 31, 2024, and have worked for at least 6 months in the financial year 2023-24.

**AP Teachers Demand Pending DA and PRC:** While the central government is celebrating the festive season with bonuses, employees in Andhra Pradesh are facing a different reality. The AP Teachers’ Association has urged the state government to announce pending DA, PRC, and IR as a Dasara gift for employees. The association highlighted the tradition of announcing IR during Dasara regardless of the ruling party. They also requested the government to appoint a chairman for the committee that is tasked with formulating a new pay revision. The previous committee chair resigned due to personal reasons.
