**Thiruvambady, October 09, 2024:** A horrifying bus accident near Kaliyamphuഴ in Malappuram district has left scores injured, causing chaos and panic in the region. The incident occurred yesterday, prompting a massive rescue operation involving locals and emergency services.
The bus, believed to be a KSRTC vehicle, veered off the road and plunged into the river. Witness accounts reveal the horrific scene with the bus partially submerged in water. Locals, alerted through WhatsApp groups, rushed to the accident site. The absence of ambulances initially hampered the rescue efforts, forcing residents to use private vehicles to transport the injured to nearby hospitals.
