Fri Oct 11 18:00:00 UTC 2024: ## Mallika Sherawat Recalls Shooting Bold Scenes with Emraan Hashmi in “Murder”
**New Delhi:** Actress Mallika Sherawat, known for her bold roles in Bollywood, recently opened up about her experience shooting the film “Murder” two decades ago. The film, directed by Mahesh Bhatt, featured intimate scenes between Mallika and Emraan Hashmi that became a talking point back then.
In a recent interview, Mallika revealed that while she felt safe on the sets of “Murder,” she was initially uncomfortable shooting intimate scenes with Emraan. However, she credits Bhatt and Hashmi for making her feel at ease. “All the girls on Bhatt’s sets were very safe,” she stated. “Even while doing bold scenes in ‘Murder’, I felt very safe. Of course, I was a little uncomfortable because of the large crew, but Bhatt saab and Emraan made me feel very comfortable. Emraan was a gentleman.”
“Murder” became a box office success and launched Mallika and Emraan into the spotlight. The film’s controversial kissing scene, however, led to a public dispute between the two actors. Emraan had described Mallika as a “bad kisser,” which sparked a feud. However, the two have since reconciled.
Now, Mallika is making a comeback to comedy with the film “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video,” released on 11th October. The film, directed by Raj Shandilya, also stars Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri. Mallika plays the role of Chanda and has already captured the hearts of fans with her performance in the trailer.
Mallika’s career has spanned over two decades, with her debut film “Jeena Sirf Mere Liye” followed by the breakthrough role in “Murder.” The actress continues to be a force to be reckoned with in the Indian film industry.
