**Trichy:** An Air India Express flight bound for Sharjah was forced to make an emergency landing at Trichy Airport after experiencing a technical fault. The Boeing aircraft, AXB613, carrying 141 passengers, took off from Trichy at 5:40 PM, but encountered a hydraulic system issue shortly after.
The pilot, fearing a potential safety hazard, requested an emergency landing. Ambulances and fire engines were immediately deployed at the airport, but the aircraft landed safely after circling over Trichy for nearly 2.5 hours, burning off fuel.
