**Trichy, October 11, 2024:** An Air India Express flight bound for Sharjah from Trichy experienced a mid-air technical snag, forcing the aircraft to circle over the city for nearly two and a half hours before making a safe emergency landing.
The incident occurred on Flight AXB613, which departed Trichy airport at 5:40 PM with 141 passengers, mostly Tamil Nadu residents.
