**Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu:** An Air India Express flight carrying 141 passengers experienced a hydraulic failure shortly after takeoff from Tiruchirapalli Airport on Friday, October 11, forcing the aircraft to circle for over two hours before making a safe emergency landing back at the airport.

Flight IX 613, scheduled to fly to Sharjah, encountered the technical issue around 5:43 PM. The pilot, upon identifying the hydraulic failure, contacted air traffic control and declared an emergency. The landing gear malfunctioned, preventing it from retracting after takeoff.
