**Thiruvananthapuram:** The much-anticipated Thiruvonam Bumper lottery 2024 saw TG 434222 emerge as the lucky winner of the Rs. 25 crore first prize. The draw took place at Gorky Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram, under the watchful eyes of Finance Minister KN Balagopal.
The second prize of Rs. 1 crore each went to 20 lucky winners. The third prize of Rs. 50 lakh, fourth prize of Rs. 5 lakh, and fifth prize of Rs. 2 lakh were also awarded to several ticket holders.
The winning ticket for the first prize was reportedly sold in Wayanad. The last few hours leading up to the draw saw a massive surge in ticket sales, with over 71 lakh tickets sold by yesterday evening.
The draw for the second prize was conducted by V.K. Prasanth, the MLA of Vattiyurkkavu. The winning ticket numbers for the various prizes have been released by the Kerala Lottery Department.
The Thiruvonam Bumper lottery, which has become a yearly ritual for many Keralites, witnessed a record sale this year, with Palakkad district leading the pack.
