**Malappuram, Kerala:** The Malappuram District Panchayat’s Scheduled Caste Development Office has announced a new training program aimed at providing practical experience to educated youth from the Scheduled Caste community. The program, titled “Training for Educated Youth in Government Institutions,” will commence in the 2024-25 financial year.
The program offers two-year training opportunities in various government institutions under the district panchayat, including engineering departments, hospitals, and other establishments. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic qualifications and practical job skills, empowering Scheduled Caste youth to secure employment opportunities.
The program provides a monthly stipend and covers various disciplines, including:
* **Paramedical:** B.Sc. Nursing, General Nursing, MLT, Pharmacy, Radiographer
* **Engineering:** B.Tech-Civil Engineering, Polytechnic (Civil), ITI (Civil)
Interested candidates can submit their applications to the District Scheduled Caste Office by October 22nd. The District Officer emphasized the importance of this program in empowering youth from marginalized communities and urged eligible individuals to apply.
