**JOHANNESBURG** – The MK Party has slammed the High Court’s dismissal of its bid to prevent the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) from excluding John Hlophe from its proceedings as unconstitutional. The party has vowed to exhaust all legal avenues to challenge the decision, asserting that the exclusion is unlawful.

Despite the ongoing legal battle, the JSC is moving forward with interviews to fill 27 vacant judicial positions, including the prestigious role of Western Cape Judge President. This position was previously held by Hlophe, who was recently impeached.

The MK Party maintains that Hlophe’s exclusion from the JSC process is a violation of his rights and undermines the principles of fairness and due process. The party has not yet specified what legal avenues it plans to pursue.
