Mon Oct 07 16:53:19 UTC 2024: ## Indian Hockey Star Hardik Singh Criticizes Quality of Paris Olympics Medal

**New Delhi, India:** Indian hockey star Hardik Singh, a member of the bronze-winning team at the Paris Olympics 2024, has expressed disappointment over the poor quality of the Olympic medal. Singh, who showcased the medal on a recent podcast, revealed signs of wear and tear just months after the Games concluded.

“The medal had iron from the Eiffel Tower, we were told, I hope it’s true. They had one job of making a good quality medal which is not the case. No problem. Still, I would say this is my biggest achievement,” said Singh.

Despite the medal’s condition, the Indian midfielder remains proud of his accomplishment, highlighting the team’s second consecutive podium finish at the Olympics. The Indian hockey team brought home one of India’s six medals in Paris, following their bronze medal win at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Singh also revealed an unfinished Olympic rings tattoo on his right arm, with one ring remaining incomplete. Explaining his reasoning, he stated that he intends to complete the tattoo upon winning a gold medal for India. “Bronze 2020 2024” is inscribed on his arm, signifying his bronze medal achievements.

“I have also made a tattoo of the Olympic rings. I have kept it incomplete. My wish is when I win the gold medal next time, I will complete it,” said Singh.
