Sun Oct 06 18:13:04 UTC 2024: ## Frankfurt Steal Point from Bayern in Thriller
**Frankfurt, Germany** – Eintracht Frankfurt secured a dramatic 3-3 draw against Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich on Sunday, thanks to a last-minute equalizer from Omar Marmoush.
The Egyptian forward, who had already levelled the score in the first half, completed a swift counter-attack in stoppage time to snatch a point for Frankfurt. This result marks Bayern’s third match without a win in all competitions, piling pressure on new coach Vincent Kompany.
Bayern started the game strongly, taking the lead in the 15th minute through Kim Min-jae. However, Frankfurt quickly equalized through Marmoush, who continued his blistering start to the season with his eighth goal in six league games.
The two sides traded blows throughout the match. Hugo Ekitike put Frankfurt ahead with a well-taken goal, but Bayern responded through Dayot Upamecano. Michael Olise then put the visitors back in front with a stunning strike in the second half.
Despite numerous chances, including a late miss from substitute Kingsley Coman, Bayern couldn’t hold on to their lead. Marmoush’s second goal, a well-timed run and finish, earned Frankfurt a valuable point and prevented Bayern from extending their lead at the top of the table.
The draw leaves Bayern on 14 points, still ahead of RB Leipzig on goal difference. Frankfurt currently sits in third place with 13 points. Kompany faces a challenge to address his team’s vulnerability to counter-attacks before the international break, as Bayern must quickly improve their defensive solidity to remain at the top of the table.
