**New Delhi, India:** Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday at his residence, providing an update on the state’s development progress over the past nine months.

The meeting focused on key initiatives in agriculture, skill development, and education, showcasing the state’s efforts towards economic and social advancement.

Chief Minister Sai highlighted the recent successful anti-Naxal operation in Narayanpur-Dantewada district, where security forces eliminated 31 Naxals, marking the largest such operation in the state’s history. PM Modi commended the bravery of the security forces involved.

Sai also briefed the Prime Minister on the progress of various development projects, including the construction of 8 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

The state is prioritizing infrastructure development, particularly in Naxal-affected areas, to facilitate social integration. Special schemes are being implemented for youth skill development in Bastar and other tribal areas, offering technical and vocational training to enhance employment opportunities.

In the agricultural sector, Chhattisgarh is leveraging digital technology and advanced farming techniques to boost productivity and increase farmer incomes.

The state is also focusing on education, with children in tribal areas being taught in their mother tongue to improve their educational outcomes. Special attention is being given to technical education to prepare youth for the future.
