Sun Oct 06 19:37:51 UTC 2024: ## Eintracht Frankfurt’s Marmoush Scores Twice to Steal Point from Bayern Munich

**FRANKFURT, Germany** – Omar Marmoush, the Bundesliga’s top scorer, snatched a dramatic 3-3 draw for Eintracht Frankfurt against reigning champions Bayern Munich on Sunday. The Egyptian forward scored twice, including a stoppage-time equalizer, to deny Bayern a crucial win.

Bayern, seeking a bounce back from their midweek Champions League defeat and last week’s Bundesliga draw, took the lead through Kim Min-jae in the 15th minute. However, Marmoush quickly equalized seven minutes later with a precise low shot.

The Egyptian forward then turned provider in the 35th minute, setting up Hugo Ekitike for Frankfurt’s second goal. Bayern responded just three minutes later with a close-range finish from Dayot Upamecano.

Michael Olise put Bayern back in front in the 53rd minute with a beautiful left-footed strike. But Marmoush had the final say, scoring a late equalizer in the dying moments of the match to secure a crucial point for his side.

The draw leaves Bayern with 14 points, leading the Bundesliga table on goal difference ahead of RB Leipzig, who defeated Heidenheim 1-0 earlier on Sunday. Eintracht Frankfurt sits in third place with 13 points.
