**Mumbai, India** – The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has announced the launch of three new indices aimed at providing investors with more diversified options. These indices are:

* **BSE SENSEX Sixty 65:35:** This index combines components from both BSE SENSEX and BSE SENSEX Next 30, with a 65:35 weighting. It includes 60 components representing over 55% of the total free float market cap of listed entities in India.
* **BSE SENSEX 60:** This index includes components from BSE SENSEX and BSE SENSEX Next 30 based on their free float market cap.
* **BSE Power and Energy Thematic Index:** This index tracks the performance of companies in the ‘Energy’ and ‘Utility’ sectors listed on the BSE 500.

All three indices have a base value of 10,000 (except BSE Power and Energy, which has a base of 1000). They are reconstituted every six months and rebalanced quarterly. USD variants are also available for the SENSEX Sixty indices.

“The new indices offer investors a more comprehensive and diversified approach to investing in the Indian market,” said a BSE spokesperson. “They provide exposure to a wider range of companies, including those from the growing next 30 segment, and offer targeted investment opportunities in the power and energy sector.”
