**Kochi, October 7, 2024:** Actress Prayaga Martin’s mother, Gigi Martin, has denied allegations that her daughter visited notorious gangster Omprakash at a hotel. The allegations surfaced after Omprakash and his friend were arrested from a star hotel in Kundannoor, Ernakulam, on suspicion of drug trafficking.
Police reports submitted for their remand mention the names of Prayaga Martin and actor Sreenath Bhasi, alleging that they had visited Omprakash at the hotel.
Speaking to Manorama Online, Gigi Martin stated, “I just spoke to Prayaga, and she is unaware of these allegations.” Attempts to reach Prayaga for further clarification were unsuccessful.
The case has sparked controversy with the names of prominent actors being linked to a suspected drug racket.
