**Kochi:** The Kochi Police have arrested notorious gangster Om Prakash and his associate in a hotel in Maradu. The arrest was made after a tip-off about their involvement in distributing cocaine in DJ parties.

Police sources reveal that Om Prakash had booked three rooms under a false name, fearing police surveillance. He was accompanied by a group of individuals, including Malayalam film stars Shreenath Bhasi and Prayaga Martin, along with others identified as Baiju, Anoop, Don Lewis, Arun, Aloshy, Sneha, Tipson, Sridevi, Roopa, and Pappi.

The police investigation uncovered evidence suggesting that the group was planning to distribute cocaine at a DJ party. Further investigation revealed that Om Prakash and his associates were involved in a drug trafficking ring operating in multiple districts, including Ernakulam. They allegedly sourced cocaine from foreign countries and distributed it at DJ parties.

A search of the hotel rooms yielded a stash of cocaine and liquor bottles. Om Prakash, a notorious criminal with over 20 cases pending against him, was apprehended along with his associate, Shihas, a resident of Kollam.

The police are continuing their investigation into the drug trafficking operation and are actively pursuing the individuals who assisted Om Prakash in booking the hotel rooms.
