**St. Louis, MO – October 2, 2024** – The St. Louis high school volleyball scene saw exciting action this week, with several local teams showcasing their skills.

Ursuline Academy, honoring the memory of late coach June Greer, secured a hard-fought victory over Cor Jesu in a GISL matchup. The final score was 25-13, 25-22, 21-25, 27-25.

Mater Dei coach Cortney Walker expressed appreciation for the community support fueling the program’s success. Meanwhile, Lutheran St. Charles continues to rely on the experience of senior setter Katelyn Diani-O’Day, a four-year fixture on the team.

The Hermann girls volleyball program welcomes Assistant Coach and former Bearcats player Tess Schannuth as their new head coach.
