Sat Oct 05 04:36:40 UTC 2024: ## Oregon Ducks Dominate Michigan State Spartans, 31-10

**EUGENE, Ore.** – The No. 6 Oregon Ducks showcased a dominant performance in all facets of the game, dismantling the Michigan State Spartans 31-10 on Friday night at Autzen Stadium. The Spartans, now on a three-game losing streak, were outmatched by the Ducks’ superior talent and execution, highlighting a significant gap between the two teams.

The Ducks’ offense, led by quarterback Dillon Gabriel and running back Jordan James, controlled the tempo throughout the game. Gabriel threw for 257 yards and two touchdowns, while James ran for 166 yards and a score. The Ducks’ offensive line paved the way for 213 rushing yards, while holding the Spartans to a meager 59.

The Spartans’ offense struggled to generate any momentum. Quarterback Aidan Chiles faced constant pressure and turned the ball over twice in the red zone, including a fumble in the end zone on the Spartans’ first drive. He finished the game completing 10 of 17 passes for 154 yards without a touchdown.

The Spartan defense, despite showing flashes of brilliance with two interceptions in the end zone, eventually succumbed to the Ducks’ relentless ground attack.

“The gap is there, and it showed tonight,” said a disappointed Spartans head coach. “We have a lot of work to do, especially on offense.”

The Spartans now enter their bye week with a 3-3 record, searching for answers before hosting Iowa on Oct. 19. The Ducks, meanwhile, remain undefeated at 5-0 and continue their pursuit of a Pac-12 title.
