**Mumbai, India:** Popular sitcom “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” has announced a new face to fill the role of Sonu Bhide. Khushi Mali takes over the role following the departure of Palak Sindhwani, who recently announced her exit amid ongoing legal battles with the show’s creators.

Sindhwani, who played Sonu for five years, released a statement detailing her difficult experience on the show, claiming the makers pressured her to continue filming despite her declining health. The actress expressed gratitude to her fans and the show’s team in her farewell message.

Jennifer Mistry, who played Roshan Sodhi, filed a police complaint against producer Asit Kumar Modi alleging harassment.
