**Lalsot, [Date]:** A horrific accident occurred this morning at the Lalsot Bus Stand in Dausa district, leaving four people dead and several injured. A speeding dumper truck, reportedly with brake failure, crashed into a bus and then plowed into a crowd of people, crushing several motorcyclists.
The incident occurred around 11:30 am, when the truck, loaded with gravel, lost control and rammed into a bus before entering the crowded bus stand. The mangled bodies of the deceased were recovered from under the truck with the help of a crane.
Local leaders have blamed the police and administration for the tragedy. Congress leader Kamal Meena stated that “There is a no-entry rule for heavy vehicles between 8 am and 8 pm in this area, yet these gravel-laden dumpers are entering crowded areas. They are owned by influential people and operate with political patronage. The police administration is responsible for this incident. Three days ago, all the shopkeepers of Lalsot held a protest from 9 am to 3 pm demanding action against this issue, but neither the SP nor anyone else paid any attention.”
An investigation into the accident is underway.
