**Muzaffarpur:** The Gola Durga Temple in Muzaffarpur is gearing up for Durga Puja with the construction of a 12-foot tall statue of Goddess Durga. Alongside the main deity, statues of Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Saraswati, Lord Ganesha, and Lord Kartik will also be installed in the temple complex.

To ensure a smooth flow of devotees, four grand entrances are being built for access to the temple and the pandal. The main statue of Goddess Durga will be located on the first floor of the temple.

According to Subodh Kumar, secretary of the temple committee, separate pathways will be provided for devotees to enter and exit the temple complex.

Four pandits have been invited from Kamakhya to perform the rituals and puja from Pratipada to Vijayadashami. Special bhog offerings will be made to the Goddess throughout the ten days.

The temple committee has also arranged for free mahaprasad (community feast) for all devotees visiting the temple.
