**Fatesabad, [Date]** – The District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner, Ms. Mandeep Kaur, has announced that the Election Commission of India has made several key electoral processes online, including the ability to download digital voter IDs, also known as Electronic Electoral Photo ID Cards (E-EPIC).
This new feature allows voters to easily download their Voter ID card to their mobile phones or computers through the Voter Helpline app or the Election Commission’s website. This is a convenient option for voters who have lost their physical voter ID card or simply want a digital copy.
The E-EPIC can be uploaded to DigiLocker and can also be printed. To download the E-EPIC, voters need to visit the National Voter Portal. New users will need to register first. After registration, simply click on the E-EPIC download option, enter your E-EPIC number or Form Reference Number, and an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Upon entering the OTP, you can then download your E-EPIC.
This move by the Election Commission is expected to make the voting process more accessible and efficient for voters across India.
