**Georgetown, Guyana** – The Guyana Amazon Warriors have booked their spot in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 final after a resounding eight-wicket victory over the Barbados Royals at their home ground on September 4th.

The Warriors chased down a target of 149 with ease, reaching the finish line with 33 balls to spare and eight wickets in hand. The chase was anchored by a blistering 56 from Shai Hope, who smashed six fours and two sixes in a 33-ball innings. He was well supported by openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz (40 off 18) and Moeen Ali (44* off 35).

Earlier, the Royals struggled to build momentum after losing early wickets. Quinton de Kock was dismissed for 15, and the dismissal of Rahkeem Cornwall triggered a collapse.
