**Ipswich Town battled back from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa in a highly entertaining match at Portman Road on Saturday.**
The visitors took the lead early on with Ollie Watkins heading home a Leon Bailey cross in the 15th minute. Morgan Rogers doubled the lead in the 34th minute with a composed finish after a good run by Ollie Watkins.
Ipswich, however, refused to be disheartened. Liam Delap pulled one back in the 41st minute with a powerful shot from close range after a neat pass from Jack Clarke.
The second half saw Ipswich continue to push for an equalizer, and they eventually found it in the 71st minute through Delap again. The striker finished off a swift counter-attack with a clinical left-footed strike.
Both teams had chances to win the game in the closing stages, but the score remained at 2-2, leaving both sides with a point each.
The result sees Ipswich maintain their unbeaten start to the season, while Aston Villa suffered their first draw of the campaign.
