**Kolkata, Oct 4 (PTI):** Fresh off their maiden ISL victory, Mohammedan Sporting will face off against their city rivals Mohun Bagan in a highly anticipated “Kolkata Derby” this Saturday. The clash promises fireworks as both teams seek bragging rights and valuable points in the league.
Mohammedan Sporting, riding high after their 1-0 win over Chennaiyin FC, will be keen to prove themselves against one of India’s footballing giants. Their solid defense, anchored by Joseph Adjei and Vanlalzuidika Chhakchhuak, will be crucial in stifling Mohun Bagan’s attack.
On the other side, Mohun Bagan, the League Shield Winners, are looking to bounce back from a 0-3 defeat to Bengaluru FC. Their attacking duo of Dimitri Petratos and Jason Cummings will be eager to find the back of the net, with Petratos on the cusp of his 50th ISL appearance for the Mariners.
Mohun Bagan’s midfield, spearheaded by Greg Stewart and Manvir Singh, will aim to control possession and press high up the pitch.
