Sat Oct 05 07:16:48 UTC 2024: ## Kejriwal to Move Out of Chief Minister’s Residence, Settles for Party’s MP Bungalow
**New Delhi:** Delhi’s former Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, is set to vacate the official Chief Minister’s residence in Civil Lines within the next two days. He will be moving to a new residence located near Mandi House on Ferozeshah Road.
Sources within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have confirmed that Kejriwal will be residing in one of the two government bungalows allotted to AAP’s Rajya Sabha MPs on Ferozeshah Road. Bungalow number 5, currently occupied by Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal, and bungalow number 10, occupied by Rajya Sabha MP N.D. Gupta, are located just meters away from the AAP headquarters on Ravishankar Shukla Lane.
The AAP had previously requested the central government to provide Kejriwal with an official residence as the national party head, but this request has not yet been addressed.
Kejriwal’s decision to move comes after his resignation from the post of Delhi Chief Minister.
