Fri Oct 04 16:55:35 UTC 2024: ## PM Modi to Release 18th Installment of PM-KISAN Scheme on October 5th

**New Delhi, October 4, 2024:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on Saturday, October 5th. The scheme, which provides eligible farmers with Rs 2,000 every four months, totaling Rs 6,000 annually, has become the world’s largest Direct Benefit Transfer scheme.

The 17th installment, worth over Rs 21,000 crore, was distributed to more than 9.26 crore farmers in June 2024. The funds are directly transferred to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts in three installments – April-July, August-November, and December-March.

Farmers must complete their e-KYC to receive the installments. The process can be done online through the PM-KISAN portal or at the nearest CSC center.

**To check beneficiary status:**

1. Visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in
2. Click on “Know Your Status”.
3. Enter your registration number, fill in the captcha code, and select “Get Data”.

**To check your name in the beneficiary list:**

1. Visit the PM Kisan official website: http://www.pmkisan.gov.in.
2. Click on the ‘Beneficiary list’ tab.
3. Select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village from the drop-down menus.
4. Click on ‘Get report’.

**To apply for the scheme:**

1. Visit the PM Kisan official website: http://www.pmkisan.gov.in.
2. Click on ‘New Farmer Registration’.
3. Enter your Aadhaar number and fill in the captcha code.
4. Enter the required details, click on ‘Yes’, and fill out the PM-KISAN application form.
