**Aurangabad, Maharashtra:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra on Saturday, October 5th, where he will release the 18th installment of the PM Kisan scheme, benefitting around 9.4 crore farmers across the country. The installment will amount to a whopping ₹20,000 crore.
Apart from the crucial financial assistance, PM Modi will also launch a range of initiatives aimed at empowering farmers. This includes the release of an integrated genomic chip developed for cattle and indigenous sex-sorted semen technology, a move aimed at increasing the affordability and availability of this crucial technology for farmers.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister will dedicate five solar parks with a combined capacity of 19 MW under the “Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana 20” to the state.
PM Modi will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for key metro and road projects in the state as part of an initiative to boost urban mobility.
The Prime Minister will also release the 5th installment of the “Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana”, which will release approximately ₹2000 crore. He will also dedicate over 7500 projects worth more than ₹1920 crore under the Agricultural Infrastructure Fund.
In addition to the agricultural schemes, PM Modi will also pay tributes to Sant Sewalal Maharaj and Sant Ramrao Maharaj in Washim, and will visit the Jagdamba Mata temple in Pohradevi.
This visit by PM Modi to Maharashtra is expected to be a significant event, showcasing the government’s commitment to supporting farmers and promoting development in the state.
