**New Delhi:** Nissan India has launched the facelifted version of its popular sub-4-meter compact SUV, the Magnite, at a starting price of ₹5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has focused on enhancing safety features, boasting over 40 safety features in the upgraded model.

**Design and Features:**

The Magnite Facelift boasts a refreshed design with a new front fascia, chrome inserts, and redesigned alloy wheels. While the rear taillights remain unchanged, their elements have been modified to give the car a fresh look.

The cabin layout remains similar, but Nissan has incorporated a new steering wheel, a new color scheme, and upgraded touch surfaces and upholstery.

The Magnite Facelift is packed with features including:

* Wireless phone mirroring
* Height adjustable driver’s seat
* Powered mirrors
* HEPA air filter
* LED headlamps and LED DRLs
* New I-key with remote engine start up to 60 meters away

Nissan has prioritized safety in the Magnite Facelift, featuring:

**Powertrain and Variants:**

The Magnite Facelift comes with a choice of two petrol engines:

Both engines are mated to either a six-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.

The Magnite Facelift is offered in six variants: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+.

**Competition and Future Plans:**

The Magnite Facelift will compete with the likes of Maruti Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Fronx, and Mahindra XUV300 in the Indian market.

Nissan India has plans to introduce five new vehicles in the next 30 months, including a two-row C-SUV, a three-row C-SUV, and an electric car.
