**New Delhi, India (October 4, 2024):** Indian smartphone brand Lava has unveiled its latest offering, the Agni 3, featuring a unique secondary display and a host of powerful features. The mid-range device promises a compelling user experience with a focus on both aesthetics and functionality.
The Agni 3 boasts a stunning 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The phone’s standout feature, however, is the 1.74-inch 2D AMOLED secondary display on the back, which can be used for a variety of tasks, including previewing selfies with the rear camera, making calls, receiving notifications, controlling music playback, tracking fitness data, and recording audio.
Under the hood, the Agni 3 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It runs on Android 14 out of the box and promises three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.
The phone boasts a robust camera system, featuring a 50MP main lens with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front, a 16MP camera with electronic image stabilization (EIS) handles selfies.
The Agni 3 draws power from a 5,000mAh Li-Po battery and supports 66W fast charging. While the 8GB/128GB variant comes without a charger in the box, the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB models include a charger.
Other noteworthy features include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance.
The Lava Agni 3 is priced at ₹20,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant (without charger), ₹22,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant with charger, and ₹24,999 for the 8GB/256GB model. It will be available for purchase on Amazon starting October 9th in Heather Glass and Pristine Glass color options.
