The historic 1400 Meridian Place NW, previously home to restaurants like Karibbean Kitchen and the Getaway and Social, has welcomed a new tenant: Trini Vybez. This all-Black and women-owned restaurant had a soft opening today, offering a taste of traditional Trinidadian cuisine.
Meanwhile, the neighborhood can also enjoy a taste of Armenia at the 76th Annual Armenian Food Festival, taking place from October 4-6. The festival features traditional Armenian food prepared by local chefs.
And for those looking for a spooky good time, Bad Medicine presents “District of the Damned,” a Halloween sketch comedy show featuring new monsters, fan favorites, and high-energy laughs. Costumes are encouraged!
