**NEW YORK, NY -** Despite their tumultuous divorce, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s iconic film “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” continues to hold a place in the hearts of fans. Jolie, attending the New York Film Festival on Monday, was photographed signing a poster for the 2005 action film, stoically adding her autograph next to her own image while seemingly avoiding any glance at Pitt’s.

The actress, promoting her latest film “Maria,” looked stylish in a black coat, nude heels, and black aviator sunglasses, completing the look with a bold red manicure and nude lip.

Jolie and Pitt, who played a married assassin couple in the film, were declared legally single in 2019 following their 2016 separation. Their divorce has been marked by legal battles, most recently with Jolie dropping a lawsuit against the FBI regarding an alleged abuse incident on a private plane in 2016.

Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, Jolie, a mother of six, recently shut down a question about the status of her divorce with Pitt, setting “firm boundaries” and simply replying “No” during an interview with the Hollywood Reporter. She did, however, reveal her intention to leave Los Angeles once her youngest children reach adulthood, seeking privacy, peace, and safety for her family.

While Jolie has been busy promoting “Maria,” which received an eight-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival, Pitt has been linked to jewelry designer Ines de Ramon since November 2022. The two recently made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Pitt’s film “Wolfs” in Los Angeles on September 18th.
