Mon Sep 30 23:27:51 UTC 2024: ## Telangana Congress Government Announces Completion of 11,062 Teacher Recruitment, Plans for 60,000 Jobs in First Year

**Hyderabad, October 2, 2023:** The Telangana Congress government has announced the completion of the recruitment process for 11,062 teachers, with appointment letters to be issued on October 9th as a Dasara gift. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening the education system and addressing the unemployment problem.

“We completed the recruitment of 11,062 teacher posts in just 65 days,” said Revanth Reddy, emphasizing the government’s swift action. “This demonstrates our commitment to making education accessible to the underprivileged.” He further announced that the government will fill over 60,000 posts within its first year in power.

The Chief Minister contrasted the Congress government’s initiatives with the previous BRS administration’s alleged neglect of the education system. “The BRS government issued only one DSC notification and appointed just 7,857 teachers in 10 years,” he said. “Education was neglected, making it inaccessible to those in need.”

Revanth Reddy also detailed plans for major reforms in the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), stating that the Group 1 results will be announced soon.

The government’s commitment to education includes the establishment of integrated residential schools for SC, ST, BC, and minority communities across 100 constituencies. Pilot projects are already underway in Kodangal and Madhira.

Revanth Reddy addressed concerns regarding infrastructure in government schools, attributing any issues to the previous government’s neglect. He also emphasized the government’s policy of keeping all government schools open, regardless of student enrollment numbers.

The Congress government’s focus on education is evident in the significant budget increase for the department and the proactive approach to teacher recruitment and promotions. The Chief Minister asserted that the government considers spending on education an investment, highlighting its commitment to providing quality education for all.
