Sun Sep 29 22:41:37 UTC 2024: ## New Coach Brings Fresh Energy to Tullamarine Demons

**Tullamarine, Victoria** – The Essendon District Football League’s Tullamarine Demons have appointed Zack Carey as their new senior coach for the 2025 season. Carey, a seasoned coach with 10 years of experience in the EDFL, takes over from David Connell who has stepped down.

Carey, who previously served as an assistant coach at Strathmore, is excited to embrace the challenge and bring his expertise to the Demons. “I’ve been around the EDFL for a long time and I know the competition well,” said Carey. “Tullamarine is a proud club with a rich history and I’m ready to build a winning culture both on and off the field.”

The Demons have struggled in recent seasons, missing out on finals for the past two years. However, Carey is confident in his ability to turn things around. “We want to bring in quality players and build a team that is not only competitive but also enjoyable to play for,” he stated.

Carey has already made his mark, securing the signing of Ben Weightman, a talented forward who kicked 24 goals in four games for Taylors Lakes this year. Weightman will also serve as a forward line coach for the team.

The Demons are looking to build a strong foundation for success in the upcoming season. Carey is confident that with the right people and the right attitude, the club can achieve its goals and contend for a finals berth.
