The fan, identified as Jitendra from Banda district in Uttar Pradesh, was spotted at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, where he arrived to buy tickets for the upcoming India-Bangladesh Test series.
Jitendra sported Rohit’s iconic jersey number 45 and displayed a tattoo featuring Rohit’s name and several of his records, including his three double centuries and four T20 centuries.
The fan’s dedication has gone viral on social media, with many praising his unwavering support for the Indian captain. This gesture has ignited excitement for the upcoming Test match between India and Bangladesh, which will be played at Green Park Stadium on September 27.
This is the first time Rohit will be playing a Test match at the venue since 2016, making it a special occasion for both the player and his fans. The India-Bangladesh Test series is scheduled to begin on September 22, with the first match taking place in Dhaka.
