Sat Sep 28 17:33:25 UTC 2024: ## Jelly Roll Rocks Madison Square Garden with Star-Studded Lineup, Then Heads to SNL and Global Citizen Festival

Country-rap artist Jelly Roll had a whirlwind weekend in New York City, kicking off his “Beautifully Broken” tour with a spectacular show at Madison Square Garden. The concert featured an impressive list of surprise guests, including Post Malone, who joined Jelly Roll onstage for a three-song set.

The duo performed a rendition of the country classic “Friends in Low Places,” a version of Malone’s “I Had Some Help” with Jelly Roll filling in for Morgan Wallen, and the live debut of their collaboration “Losers” from Malone’s “F-1 Trillion.”

But Post Malone wasn’t the only special guest. Alexandra Kay stopped by for covers of Toby Keith’s “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” and Shania Twain’s “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!,” while Jessie Murph performed her own hit “Wild Ones.” Perhaps the most unexpected appearance was that of legendary rapper Busta Rhymes.

Jelly Roll’s busy New York weekend continues Saturday with a performance at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park, where he’ll share the stage with Post Malone once again. Following that, the singer will head to Rockefeller Center to serve as musical guest on the Season 50 premiere of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Jean Smart.

After a whirlwind week in the city, Jelly Roll will then journey to New Jersey on Sunday for a gig at Newark’s Prudential Center, marking the end of his tri-state tour. The “Beautifully Broken” tour will then continue its journey across the country, heading to Pennsylvania next.
