**Mumbai, India -** Jr NTR’s highly anticipated action film “Devara” has made a thunderous debut at the box office, raking in a record-breaking ₹77 crore on its first day of release. The film’s opening day collection has surpassed both the horror-comedy “Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank” and Shah Rukh Khan’s action thriller “Jawan.”
“Devara: Part 1”, directed by Koratala Siva, marks the return of the superstar following his global success with “RRR.” The film’s strong performance is attributed to its nationwide release across multiple languages, with the Telugu version garnering ₹68.6 crore alone.
