**Kanpur, India:** A tense moment gripped the Green Park Stadium during the second India-Bangladesh Test match on Friday as a Bangladeshi fan, known as “The Tiger” for his iconic tiger costume and body paint, was rushed to the hospital. Initial fears of a clash between supporters of both teams were quelled when it was confirmed that the fan had fallen ill.
The fan, identified as Robbie, had been a familiar sight at the stadium, captivating spectators with his vibrant attire. However, during the match, he reportedly felt unwell, prompting police to escort him out of the stands. While Robbie initially claimed to have been involved in a scuffle with local fans, authorities clarified that he was suffering from an undisclosed medical condition and was transported to the hospital for immediate care.
Hospital staff confirmed that Robbie is now recovering and his condition is improving. Kanpur’s ACP Abhishek Pandey also dispelled rumors of any violence, stating that Robbie received prompt medical attention and there was no assault involved.
