**Ooty, Tamil Nadu (India):** Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. has expanded its flagship sustainability initiative, “Bottles for Change,” to the hill station of Ooty, Tamil Nadu, on World Tourism Day. In collaboration with the Nilgiris District Administration and JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, the program aims to promote plastic recycling and protect the pristine environment of the region.
The initiative includes installing benches made from recycled plastic and placing collection banks for used plastics at key locations, encouraging responsible disposal and recycling. Forest clean-up drives were also conducted in Doddabetta, Pine Forest, and Sanitalla Backwater, raising awareness about environmental preservation.
