**Berlin, Germany** – Smartphone giant Xiaomi has unveiled its latest collaboration with legendary camera brand Leica, the Xiaomi 14T series. The new lineup includes the 14T and 14T Pro, both featuring triple camera systems co-engineered with Leica, as well as the groundbreaking Xiaomi Mix Flip, a Leica-powered foldable smartphone.
The Xiaomi 14T Pro boasts a versatile triple camera system with five focal lengths ranging from 15mm to 120mm. All three cameras utilize Leica Summilux lenses, with the main camera featuring a high-speed f/1.6 aperture, capturing 32 percent more light for improved low-light performance. The 14T offers a 50-megapixel main camera and a telephoto lens with 100mm equivalent shooting.
Both 14T models prioritize advanced video features, including 4K HDR recording with cinematic blur and focus-racking effects. They share a 6.67-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, delivering a vibrant and immersive viewing experience.
Performance-wise, the Xiaomi 14T Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, delivering significant performance upgrades compared to its predecessor. The Xiaomi 14T utilizes the Dimensity 8300 processor, providing a noticeable performance boost as well. Both devices come equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery, with the 14T Pro offering fast charging support and wireless charging capabilities.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip, the company’s first vertical foldable device, features a Leica Summilux lens and the world’s first Leica 47mm floating telephoto lens on a flip phone. The innovative lens allows for a focus range from 9 centimeters to infinity, ideal for close-up and long-distance shots. The Mix Flip also boasts a 50-megapixel telephoto module with 2x zoom capabilities.
The foldable format enables users to capture photos and videos even when the phone is closed thanks to the outer display and Leica lenses. The Mix Flip can also be used in hover mode, providing a makeshift tripod function.
Pricing and availability details for the new Xiaomi 14T series are yet to be announced but are expected to be released soon.
