The UCF Knights held their position at No. 4 in the latest Big 12 power rankings, heading into their conference home opener against Colorado on Saturday.
Utah, undefeated and with 15 out of 16 first-place votes, took the top spot, followed by Iowa State at No. 2 and BYU at No. 3. The Knights are tied with Oklahoma State, which fell to No. 4 after losing to Utah last week.
UCF’s 3-0 start, including a win over No. 13 Kansas State, sets the stage for a potentially big win against Colorado. The game will be broadcast live on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff Show, marking the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
The Knights have also established themselves as a rushing powerhouse, leading the nation with an average of 375.5 yards per game, largely due to the impressive performance of running back RJ Harvey.
Coach Gus Malzahn’s team is looking to win its first four games for the first time since 2018 and capitalize on the national spotlight against Colorado.
