**New York City, NY (August 20, 2024)** – The Tribeca Festival, presented by OKX, has announced its return for its 24th annual event, taking place from June 4th to 15th, 2025. Submissions for the festival are now open, with a variety of categories and deadlines for filmmakers to apply.

This year, the festival is introducing a new initiative to support emerging filmmakers: the **Creators Forum**. This dynamic, multi-day summit will offer mentorship, networking opportunities, and insights from industry leaders. The forum aims to provide filmmakers with the tools and connections they need to advance their careers and projects.

“For over two decades, Tribeca has been a vital platform for emerging artists,” said Tribeca CEO and Co-Founder Jane Rosenthal. “The Creators Forum is a natural evolution, reflecting our commitment to fostering a more inclusive and accessible film industry.”

In addition to the new Creators Forum, the Tribeca Festival is expanding its short films program eligibility to include projects screened in New York or online. The “Works-in-Progress” showcase within the Creators Market will also accept submissions for the first time, giving filmmakers in post-production the opportunity to preview their projects to industry professionals.

The 2024 Tribeca Festival saw record-breaking participation, with over 13,000 submissions and nearly 600 events attracting over 145,000 attendees. The festival is curated by a team of experienced programmers, ensuring a diverse and impactful selection of films and events.
